How are a rubber band and the brain related?

Flexible thinking is one of the three main parts of executive functioning that occurs in the prefrontal cortex part of our brains. Flexible thinking is the ability to shift gears from one activity to another. The opposite of flexible thinking is rigid thinking, not being able to transition well.
